Sitting in this humid room shirtless and for the first time all day comfortable. Blasting Discovery and remembering last summer,
driving down those square groupings of rural roads sectioning miles of fields growing soy and windmills. Weeks of sunlight and windows down and a June like I was learning to breathe.
I miss those wide open spaces.

1) There’s so much hair and it doesn’t make sense.
2) I have a scar on my left retina and my left eyeball is filled with silicone gel.
3) I have high arches and was once asked if I was a ballet dancer. I laughed out loud.
4) Both of my middle fingers are crooked.
5) There is red hair in my beard.
6) I can wiggle my ears.
7) My second toe is longer than my big toe.
8) I’ve been told I have nice shins. Which is a strange thing to write.
